It's just common sense to submit a resume when asking for a job. In the job market today, you need to submit a resume to convince your interviewer that you are capable of doing the job that you are applying for. The interviewer will be looking for skills that are applicable to the job that you want. When I ask for your vote to make me the Mayor of Covington, I should be able to list skills that will convince you that I have the experience and will be able to fill the responsibilities needed for the job.
